Perla comes to visit!

Last October, after reading the story Akiak, we had a very special visitor in our class. Perla belongs to one of my fifth grade girls. She is a Syberian Husky just like Akiak. The only difference is that she lives in Puerto Rico and not in Alaska. She is 13 years old. We enjoyed having her visit us. The students got to learn about her life through Lorretta (her owner), they brushed her hair, touched her....all in all in was a great experience. Enjoy the pictures.
