This past week, the third grade groups had the opportunity to read the story Titanic: Lost and Found. Needless to say, the students are amazed at the details and facts from this true story. This story is about a group of third grade students who don't appreciate their teacher very much. As a result, they get a surprise. It's not a very good surprise, but the students learn a valuable lesson.
As part of our activities for this story, you will write three sentences explaining why your regular teacher or English teacher are important to you or why you appreciate them. They don't have to be long sentences, but make sure they are complete sentences. We will be sharing them in class. There will be a bonus for all those who take the time and work on this.
